Finding wildlife, especially bald eagles, is primarily dependent on habitat. One full year on Cherokee Lake produced only a very few photographs of bald eagles. Many homes and boat traffic are the cause. One afternoon on Douglas Lake, driving a boat for two miles on one shoreline, produced photos of three separate bald eagles and a visual on two more. The camera batterie and the spare battery both went dead, which has never happened to me before and will not do so again.
