WILD FLOWERS AGAINS WOOD

Spring has finally arrived along the river as the river banks have come alive with rich green, yellows, blues, and reds of some prominent wildflowers to the area.  Yellow seems to be the color of the day though.

The shot below is a blend of rock, wood, and greenery that caught my eye in passing.  Maybe ya had to be there. :)

This wood is almost the consistency of stone. It resides up the hillside above the river.  I believe it is petrified.
