EAGLES AT KYLES FORD, EAST TENNESSEE IN 2020

These shots were taken back in 2020 at Kyles Ford, Tennessee.  The youngsters both successfully survived the ordeal of birth and eagle education and are now out on their own creating lives for themselves in new territories.  The significance of re-posting these pictures is that close inspection of the nest site this year, 2021, indicates that the nest was destroyed between the time of these shots and now.  "Now" is when bald eagles are nesting and preparing the nest bed for the eggs that will shortly appear.  I am concerned about these two eagle adults but at the same time I understand that they are wired by nature to prepare a replacement nest in their territory.  I pray they have done so and a friend and I have asked local residence to search it out.  Let these photographs represent their majesty and be indicative of their noble character that justifies why we have selected this magnificent eagle to represent The United States of America.  If there has been a second nest built - we will find it and protect it.
