A GATHERING OF SWALLOWS

Very hard to photograph.  Very hard!
There's nothing spectacular in this post.  I went to Douglas Lake looking for bald eagles on the upper end of the reservoir and found none.  The lake was full of fishing boats and that's just what eagles "don't" like.  It was unusual to see so many swallows over the water, however.  They are a real challenge to photograph and I haven't perfected the process - yet.  I'll be on the Holston River tomorrow morning and I can't wait to get there.  See ya then.

The cormorant navy was on the water too:

  1. If it is a gaggle of geese and a murder of crows would it be a swirl of swallows ? LOL
