IMMATURE BALD EAGLES ON DOUGLAS LAKE, TENNESSEE

The immature bald eagle circled the heron rookery and flew between the nests bumping them in passing and throwing grass and sticks into the air.  A heron can be seen flying in fear top left corner of photo.
He then landed on a limb and faced the rookery and just stared.  What was that all about?

What tremendous power is in those wings!

Shortly after the first sighting, a young pair of immature s appear on a tree limb.  They probably are siblings.
